Why Have a Hawaii
Musician?
- We have great Maui musicians, and even
have available grammy award winning slack-key guitarist George Kahumoku,
to enhance your Hawaii wedding and/or your Maui wedding reception. (Of
course, George does not come cheap!)
-
-
You'll never see a commercial on
television that does not have music. Why? Because music sets the mood
like few other things. Music
can add so much to your wedding. Having music is a wise investment for
your wedding. We work with many different musicians and have a good feel
for what they can do to provide your wedding the romantic touch that you
prefer.
-
- If you are planning to have a musician (or your
package includes a musician), I encourage you to think through what
style of music you would like at your wedding. Your choice might also be
established if you have specific special songs that you want played
during your weddi
ng.
-
- There is a wide selection of
musicians available on Maui. There are a number of Hawaiian guitar
players available--both male and female.
-
- If you have special requests,
be sure and let us know so we can find out if a particular musician
who knows your songs. In some cases, the musicians may be able
to learn them if they have advanced notice (along with the sheet
music).
-
- Maui Harpists are a favorite of many couples. They
can play quietly in the background while the ceremony takes place.
There are several harpists on the island, but they are popular,
so book early to be sure one will be available. One of our harpists
also sings.
-
- We also have cello,
violin,
accordion, flutes, trumpets, saxophone, portable keyboards, ukulele, and
many other instruments. If you have an instrument that you would like,
be sure to ask.
-
-
For our best Wedding Packages
we feature a husband/wife romantic duo who play guitar, keyboards
(or flute) and sing together both traditional and romantic Hawaiian
songs (as well as a few they've written together).
-
- We also have both male and female
hula dancers available (as pictured on the left) either for your
wedding or your reception. This certainly adds a unique Hawaiian
touch to your romantic ceremony that you and your guests will
never forget.
